The goal was to create a simple and atmospheric visual interpretation of the music, using the character of Clifden and its surroundings as an essential part of the film.

I filmed the project on iPhone and edited the material around the music, selecting visual impressions of Clifden and its surroundings and building the pacing around atmosphere, rhythm and the relationship between the landscape and the soundtrack.

The final film combines music, landscape and local atmosphere into a concise visual piece that presents Clifden through a contemporary, personal perspective.

The project demonstrates how lightweight production tools and careful editing can be used to create an expressive visual story without a complex production setup.
